two plants, one filter, zero smell complaints
running a 2x2 for about three years now. the single biggest upgrade i made wasn't the light or the medium, it was sizing up my carbon filter. people go cheap on the filter and wonder why the hallway smells like a dispensary.
my setup is a 4 inch AC Infinity with a filter rated for way more cfm than i actually need. overkill on purpose. negative pressure in the tent means every bit of air goes through that carbon before it leaves the space. no bypass, no leaks at the zipper, no excuses.
for plant count, i stick to two in the 2x2. tried three once and just created problems, airflow got restricted and i had a humidity nightmare in week 6. two plants trained well will fill that canopy without the headache.
the one specific thing i'd tell someone new to small spaces: seal every duct connection with aluminum tape, not just the clamps. clamps loosen over time. tape doesn't. took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out where a small leak was, and it was right at the intake collar.

About to embark on our first ever 2x2 grow, the negative pressure with the extra fan creates the perfect wind tunnel.
I was struggling with if I should run DWC in the 2x2 or just run my coco/perlite blend. Would love to hear others and some experiences they had with mediums or DWC
