Is growing cannabis hard? Honest answers please
I want to grow but I'm nervous about messing up and wasting money. Be honest β is it actually hard or are people overcomplicating it?

Honest answer: growing GOOD cannabis is easy. Growing GREAT cannabis takes practice.
Your first grow will probably have issues. That's normal. But cannabis is a weed β it WANTS to grow. Even with mistakes, you'll likely harvest something smokeable.
Start with autoflowers (forgiving + fast), use decent soil, don't overwater, and keep it simple. You'll do fine.
Way easier than people make it seem online. The grow forums (including this one) can make it feel like rocket science with all the talk about VPD, EC, PPM, etc. Ignore that for now. Water when dry, give it light, don't overthink it.
I just finished my first grow and it was honestly not hard. Made tons of mistakes (overwatered, wrong pH, light too close) and still got 2 oz of decent bud. Don't let fear hold you back!
Grab some Northern Lights Auto seeds from Royal King Seeds, a small tent, and a basic LED. Follow a simple guide. That's literally it. My first auto grow produced 2.5oz with zero experience.
