Zkittlez S1 pheno hunt, found the one

ran 12 Zkittlez S1 beans this cycle specifically to find a keeper and i think i finally have her. popped all 12, grew them out to week 3 flower, then culled the obvious duds by nose alone. ended up with 4 worth finishing.

pheno 3 was the one everybody in my group kept walking back to. room temp drying, 60 day cure, and she opened up into this layered tropical thing. like guava skin on the front, then this dank grape candy underneath, and there's a weird almost floral finish that i can't fully place. passion fruit maybe. whatever it is, it's loud in the best way.

phenos 1 and 4 were more of a classic candy grape smell, sweet and clean, not bad at all but kind of one-dimensional once you really sit with them. pheno 2 smelled like straight up fruit punch candy, which some people love. i found it a little flat. just not complex enough for me to justify the space.

the cure on pheno 3 right now is sitting at 62 days and the smell profile is still evolving. i keep opening the jar expecting it to peak and it just keeps going. that's usually the sign of something worth cloning and holding onto. already took cuts off her before the chop, she's staying in the lineup.
