sfv og pheno this season, solid run

ran a sfv og cut i got from a buddy two seasons back. finally dialed in the feed schedule and let her go full 70 days outdoor in the ground. she stretched more than i expected, ended up around 5 feet, which is a little tall for my spot but manageable.

smell on this one is that classic lemon pine fuel combo. not subtle. by week 6 you could catch it walking past the bed from 10 feet out. dried down to a slightly sweeter version of that, little more citrus up front. cure made a big difference, gave her 6 weeks in jars and she smoothed right out.

yield was honest. pulled about 3.5 oz dry off the main cola and side branches combined. nothing record breaking but this strain isnt a yielder, never has been. thats not why you run it.

effect is where she earns it. heavy behind the eyes, legs get lazy fast. classic indica-leaning og body with enough head to keep you functional for the first 20 minutes. after that youre on the couch and thats fine by me. good evening strain, not a daytime thing.

overall i keep coming back to this cut for a reason. 25 years in and og genetics still set the standard for me. nothing against anything newer, but this is the one i measure everything else against.
