What are you running outside this season and why

Terp hunting outdoors is a different game entirely and i think people underrate how much the environment shapes the final profile. Same cut, different microclimate, totally different nose on the finished product. That coastal stress you mentioned on the sativa leaning one is actually interesting to me, i ran a haze-adjacent pheno two seasons ago about a mile from the water and she threw this almost saline, herbal funk i have never been able to replicate since. probably never will.

My lineup this year is small on purpose. Three plants, all phenos i already know well enough to not waste a full season on a gamble. One is a gassy, almost petroleum forward keeper i have been running four years. She goes late but the cure on her is ridiculous, room-filling diesel with a sweet backend that takes about six weeks to really open up. Not dropping her for anything.

The slot i ditched was a fruity hybrid i ran last two years. Yields were fine, terps were fine, just never loud enough for what i am chasing. Fine is the enemy when you only have so many outdoor runs left in the season.

If you have that one open slot and you are coast side, i would lean toward something with some mold resistance baked in rather than chasing a profile you can always get indoors. Just my take, outdoor real estate is too precious to nurse something through bud rot for three weeks.
